The JICRC has hosted students for internships since 2004. The center has received interns from the US and Europe, for both short and long term positions, and always welcomes applications.
Under the internship program, tasks and experiences will include but not be limited to:
Writing and editing of news articles
Interaction with members of key partners and political institutes
Practical experience in the institute's contact building with local and national communities (i.e. through media communication and online social networks)
A chance to explore Jordan’s diverse religious cultures
Time permitting, interns may also be able to engage in research projects that further explore interfaith and religious-secular relations
All interns will have the opportunity to reside in Amman’s Jebel Webdeh district, a quiet residential area that offers several cafes, shops and local arts and crafts galleries. The institute is located in the same district, close to Luzmila Hospital. From Jebel Webdeh, it is possible to walk to Amman’s lively downtown district, known for its traditional bazaars, shops and food vendors.
